The Ysleta Independent School District is proud to share that, according to recently released 2023 Texas Education Agency (TEA) accountability ratings, it has not only maintained its status as the highest-rated district in El Paso, but it is the only district in the region to earn the state’s Distinction Designation for postsecondary readiness.
In addition, a remarkable 94% of Ysleta ISD campuses received top ratings of either an “A” or “B” for overall academic performance.
Due to separate lawsuits, TEA delayed the release of the 2023 ratings and cannot publish 2023-24 ratings. Ratings for 2024-25 are expected in August 2025.
“These extraordinary ratings are a reflection of what’s possible when everyone works together – leadership, administrators, teachers, support staff, students, and families who place their trust in the Ysleta Independent School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Xavier De La Torre.
Thanks to the dedication of our educators and students, 18 Ysleta ISD schools earned “A” ratings in 2023. These schools are:
