Ysleta ISD’s Communications & Marketing Department captured 23 national awards this summer from the widely respected National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) for outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing, and engagement.

The district not only earned 22 Publication and Digital Media awards for exemplary graphic design, photos, social media, writing, marketing and other work in 2025-26, but also won a coveted Golden Achievement Award for its “Must #BePresent To Win!” attendance campaign.

NSPRA officials said more than 24,000 entries were submitted in this year’s awards competition – of those, only about 2,000 entries nationwide were selected for recognition, including Ysleta ISD’s submissions.

Within the Publication and Digital Media Awards, three categories of recognitions are given – the highest is the Award of Excellence, followed by the Award of Merit, and Honorable Mention. Ysleta ISD secured seven Awards of Excellence, nine Awards of Merit, and six Honorable Mentions.
